What goes perfectly with a clown fish? An anemone! But did you know that there's more than one type? The type that most people are used to seeing are bubble tip anemones (BTA) or the Condy (Condylactis) anemone. These have long tentacles and are known to host clownfish sucessfully.
More of the unknown are rock anemones and carpet anemones. Carpet anemones aren't usually kept in a reef aquarium because they are notorious for eating smaller fish. The more popular type is the Maxi-mini or mini maxi anemone which range from 1" - 3". These are well known to host with small shrimps and are not aggressive towards fish.
